1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of the Garaj mobile application, garaj-app.com and related services. By creating an account or using Garaj, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and notify support@garaj-app.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may delete your account from the app at any time.

3. What Garaj provides

Garaj helps you organise vehicle details, service and repair records, expenses, reminders, documents, photos, reports and sharing links. Features may change as the service develops.

Garaj is a record-keeping tool. It is not a garage, insurer, vehicle authority, inspection provider, mechanic, legal adviser or financial adviser. Reminders, reports, market estimates and other outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and must not replace professional advice, official records, inspections or manufacturer guidance.

4. Your content and sharing

You retain ownership of the information and files you add. You give Garaj a limited licence to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and to perform actions you request.

You must have the right to upload and share your content. You control the categories included in a vehicle-history link and are responsible for its recipients. A person with an active link may copy information they can view, even after you revoke the link.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Garaj unlawfully; upload malicious, infringing or deceptive material; access another person’s account or data; probe or disrupt the service; automate abusive requests; misrepresent vehicle history; or use Garaj to facilitate fraud. We may restrict or suspend access reasonably needed to protect users, Garaj or third parties.

6. Third-party services

Garaj relies on third-party platforms for authentication, hosting, storage, email, maps and device services. Their availability and terms may affect features. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience and do not make Garaj responsible for their content or conduct.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Garaj reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may maintain, change, limit or discontinue features. Export important records you need to keep independently.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Garaj is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We are not responsible for decisions about vehicle maintenance, purchase, sale, insurance or safety made from user-entered data or Garaj outputs.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Garaj and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, profit or opportunity arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

9. Termination

You may stop using Garaj and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful use, security risk or where required by law. Sections intended to survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers and liability terms, will continue to apply.

10. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without limiting mandatory rights under applicable consumer law. Courts with jurisdiction in Dubai will hear disputes unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms as Garaj changes. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
